QS Quacquarelli Symonds released the QS World University Rankings 2027 on June 18. Among 8,808 universities evaluated worldwide, only 1,504 institutions were included in the final rankings. NTHU ranked 142nd globally, rising 34 places from last year and achieving its highest position ever. NTHU ranked second in Taiwan and is now among the top 10 percent of ranked universities worldwide. NTHU Uncovers Dual-Gate Mechanism That Controls Calcium in Cells, Published in PNASCalcium ions inside cells trigger a wide range of physiological responses, and cells must control their levels with precision to avoid excessive or insufficient flows.
